Here go's. My 1st Video w/ Canon F200 camcorder & my "Guild" Willy Porter Signature Model guitar. Guild produced less than 100 of these in Tacoma WA in 2007, before moving production to China w/ the current GAD series. You can see the 3 bottom Pins are black (ebony) & 3 upper Pins are white (bone) more range of highs & lows? I'm not sure if they succeeded? Sorry for the low lighting. Gary

Very nice. Holding the guitar when sitting is not easy but I think you've found a placement that works for you. Good left hand position. The right hand could move a bit to be more angled to the strings. Really nice. Sounds like you've done some metronome work on this one.
A little more light would be good also.

Thanks Andy, I noticed after listening that I needed to be able to strum more softly, maybe your suggestion about my rt. hand position will help. I'll definitely give it a try. I actually had my laptop in front of me and my earbuds pluged in and was playing along w/Neil for timing. Gary

I was thinking a lighter pick while I was listening but my right ear is messed up today so I was not sure if I was hearing it correctly.

Hey Gary welcome the the esteemed club of video posters! Karma for posting and for your great work on this song. Timing was really good (good idea to play along with Neil, timing you can trust!). Good for you using a pick, that's something I can't do at all well yet. Well done!

Nice job sir. The sound came out pretty decent. A little more light would be good too like Andy said. As far as the playing goes, I thought you did a great job. Looks like you keep a darn good bit of time there. Keep up the good work!

I agree. I was thinking the same thing, how to get a more gentile strum, a lighter pick would help I believe. The guitar is Flamed or some call it Curly Maple and the top is Solid AAA Sitka Spruce and it really rings out. It comes with bone pins in the 3 bass strings and Ebony pins in the 3 treble strings causing significant acoustic ringout and sustain, but requiring the player to be gentile with the picking and struming or suffer the acoustic consequences. Thanks for your input. I think next time if I play along W/Neil I'll only use 1 earbud because I couldn't hear myself playing very well which didn't help my strumming and picking loudness/softness control & maybe caused a little loss of focus on playing, contributing to a few errors. Thanks for a welcome to the club. Gary
