Funk 49 Opening Riff

Hey Neil thanks so much for showing us how to play this tune. That really brought back some memories from the high school days, but what about the little decending opening riff to that song. Any plans to add that to the lesson?

Does anyone know how to play the opening ascending run for Funk 49?

I have always liked this tune and was really glad when Neil posted the lesson, but without the "hook" it sounds incomplete.
