What are the steps for submitting a student video for review as I have never done one.

No that is part of the deal ...you post something to be reviewed by Neil it goes into the student You Tube channel..
If you want to keep it private you can do so , only it will not be reviewed by Neil, and you will need to find your own host (you could use Youtube and open it to only folk you want for instance.or there are other options like vimeo)

Thanks, so far my playing really sucks therefore I did not want it open to the whole world of youtube.
RD44 What is the worst that could happen: you get a comment from somebody who cannot play, so what. However you will find the benefits of having Neil commenting but also from from all your friends here at TG who want to help. Give it a shot, it is worth it.

Mate...I can tell you this..Since student videos are processed via YouTube are they available to the public? I would prefer my videos to be available only to the TG site.
I posted one really early on to set an example..and I can promise you my playing sucked then and sucks now...
But no one cares...
They care that you put yourself out there...and so that Neil can help along with the community so you can suck less later..

Im Matt's 2nd in command in the suck brigade
I cringed so much when I posted my first few video's
I even posted one where I sang, O it was bad
Even though It's on youtube, nobody commented on there
And I/we dont watch it on youube as the kind peeps here do all the processing and then post to the forum,no need to go to youtube
The positive encouraging feedback here, will help you to become better, much better
So take the jump, I garentee it is painless.

Posting a video and dealing with the fear factor is one of the rites of passage at TG. It's a BIG step for everyone. And when you've been there and done it, it's the best thing you could have done. A year later it's like, oh yeah I remember how hard that was back then, now its a doddle! ANd you are still anonymous to everyone who is not a TG insider.

all i can say is go for it you will only get helpful advice from the top crew on here, i was really hesitant to do it but so glad i have and now i dont hesitate, it is kind of addictive lol
do it you wont regret it, and dont believe matt and rick because neither of them suck lol
