In the ELP video From The Beginning you describe a chord E7-9 or E7b9. I dont understand your fingering for this chord. In the video you play the notes E B F A D. I am not sure where you get the A note in this chord Shouldnt it be Ab? Cant figure out where the A the fourth of E comes in a E7b9.

I may have either misspoken or used a verbal shortcut. The chord is E7-9sus4, although it might be called Bm7-5/E as well. In any case, it is functioning as an altered dominant (V) chord in the key of A Minor, even though the main progression is really in A Dorian. Sorry for the confusion and good work checking the details!

Thanks for clearing it up. You did not misspeak. it is written in the pdf chart as E7b9. However in the Guitar Pro tab the chord is written as E(b7)9 which would have the Ab instead of the A and therefore would not be a sus4. So which do you think is the right chord?
