Why can'nt I hit the bass note and do a pullof at the same time? (well not in a good way)..or why can'nt I do a pulloff and hit the bass note at the same time?

Are there special practice tips or skill's for getting this down?

Maybe you showed it in a certain lesson but that is hard to find back,,atleast I don't know which lesson..

Hi Willem

take a look at the slack key lessons
This one has a slide into,, whilst hitting a bass note, check the left hand part

Or Mississippi Blues

Third Barre is a hammer on whilst hitting a bass note

Hello Willem

Did you see the weekly news explaining the hammer on / pull off?

I've been practicing The Fisherman - Part 1a

I can co-ordinate the simultaneous thumb and 4th finger but they need much more practice to get strong note sound.

Using A Metronome
I find Section 1 - Measures 5 and 8 difficult to play with a metronome because of the HO / PO's.

I'll practice a little more and upload a video of where I'm at with part 1 a.

Dermot

:S
I'm been far away from such a song/tune and never gave it a look,,my question was not for that lesson but I go and see it now...
