Search function for alternative tunings

Neil,
It would be a great addition to your site if I was able to search lessons for songs in certain alternative tunings (open G, etc.). Sometimes when I'm working on a lesson for a song in an alternative tuning, I want to take a break from that lesson to work on another for a bit without retuning. Such a search function would be great. Thank you for your top notch lessons and for taking my playing to new levels.

Hey Scott,

Good suggestion. I also think that would be a useful feature, if the metadata is included for all relevant songs (which it maybe). I'm sure there are a number of characteristics that it would be useful to use as filters (e.g. Fingerpicking, flatpicking).

If you put the alternate tuning into the existing search feature (e.g. Open G) you will get some results. I assume that that approach doesn't capture everything, but perhaps it does. Maybe Neil or one of the Tech Wizards can answer that question for us.

Try the normal search function for now. That will get you started.

If you go to Guitar Lessons > All Lessons you first see a list of TARGET Lessons by Band.
However you can then filter the list and one of the criteria is by Alternate Tuning.

Here's what it look like:

I'm not sure if the list is complete but the option is there.
