I've had a look at The Good Life Ragtime Excursion lesson parts.
Do you plan to add a full play through of all sections, A,B,C and D
It would be great to listen it from beginning to end when out an about.
You may already have an Acoustic Snapshot of it as taught in the lesson ?

Hey Dermot,
It seems that my question about "The Good Life" a couple of weeks ago got you thinking. There is a play through under Acoustic Snapshots, November 4, 2014. I just listened to it again which is a good thing to try to keep the entire piece in perspective. I'm working on part 3 right now which I'm finding much easier than part 2. That last line will probably take months to sound musical. Then on to part 4, I guess.
Let us know how it's going for you. I would love someone to commiserate with. Happy playing!

Yes, hooked, thanks !
Your way ahead of me.
I've only just watched all the lessons through.
It's quite a long piece when played in full, but it's just great.
Thanks for the Acoustic Snapshot heads up.
Found it ! :cheer:

Glad I could help, Dermot. Now just don't forget to report back on how it's going. I plan to be on this a while yet and I always find these sort of comments helpful. Happy playing!

Thanks for posting this, Jean. I, too, got working on this one after you posted your question. But you are still way ahead of me, so I can't offer any help on your original question.
Cheers,
Lynn

I'm glad to hear that you decided to give it a try , Lynn. It's been great fun. Neil came to the rescue as usual. That pull off is not yet consistent but remembering to pull off toward the floor has helped. For me , the third page has proved way easier than the second. That one measure that I posted about was impossible; the last measure of the second page makes me feel uncoordinated. But I'm working on it. Just keep moving through the piece and post on how things are working for you. Good luck with it!
