Song surgeon on ipad

I finally got Song Surgeon based on your recent recommendation. Am waiting to try all the bells & whistles. But the reality is that i tend to live on my ipad/iphone, not my pc. I downloaded the free SS Trainer from app store, but the screen: 1) is only in portrait & doesn’t go to landscape view; and 2) more bothersome is that is cuts off the right 1/2 of the screen so that you can’t see those controls (like speed).
Have you run into this? Is there a fix for the app? I don’t see a settings feature on the app & i’ve dinked around the ipad settings as well…no joy. Has anyone else had this problem or figured a solution?
