Hello everyone, My name is Mike, I'm 52 yrs young..:) and finally decided to become a Target Member. Just couldn't pass up on these great songs that Neil is teaching. My passion is fingerstyle and I'm looking forward to learning some new material. Time to check out some songs..:woohoo:

Mike, great to have you with us. It must be the songs cause it seems like almost everybody on TG is in or right around their 50's. I too joined because I saw a way to learn some of my longtime favorite songs. And a method to actually do it, not just talk or think about it but with Neil's teaching methods and the TG site it's up to you, no, me to learn or not. Hope you have as good a time with TG as I have. Gary

G'day Mike welcome aboard. I'm keen to improve fingerstyle also (as are most people here I would imagine) and I find the instruction invaluable. Where are you from mate? (I'm Australian just in case you didn't pick that up! :)

Welcome, Mike! This is a great site and I know you won't be disappointed that you've joined. There are a lot of great songs to be learned here, and members are wonderfully helpful. Looking forward to your first posted video!

Welcome aboard from Canada, Mike, perfect age to join in (same as me) and also like fingerpicking. You will find some good challenges on the site, either new songs or new techniques, enough to keep you busy for a while.

Thanks Chris,Gary and Tovo for the welcome in! I'm located in Alabama where the weather is still a bit muggy for October. A lot of the songs on here I had completely forgotten about. Really looking forward to playing some of these.

Welcome Mike,
I am also in my 50 plus years young, I always wanted to learn to finger pick and I believe I am well on my way. TG is a GREAT site and Neil is a GREAT teacher. I am like a kid in a candy store. The only problem I have is, so many songs, so little time, but I am enjoying the journey....I do see an improvement in my playing. What fun.

Hi stratman, join the club... I think that Kid in the Candy Store feeling is exactly what we all felt when we arrived here. Spot on!
