Hi Everyone,
Name is Bill. Live in Santa Fe, NM. I was a member of Target and then dropped out and was just purchasing songs. I felt lonely and left out and now I am back. Very glad to be, too. 45 y/o with wife and one 9 year old boy. I have an old Yamaha 6 string and it is the only guitar I have ever owned. I learned to play in college and plateaued about 5 years later. I have been waiting for something or someone to help me get to the next level. Well, I found it. Thanks Neil. My wife said to me the other day "you are playing better than ever!" Well, THAT is motivation. :) I am enjoying myself more than I have in a decade. Here is to TG.

Welcome back Bill, good call you won't regret it. I get the same comments from my better half, so this site must be working. One thing you never get lonely around here. Bear (Rick), AndyT, Nevermindthetime (Chris) see to that lol...

I had a similar experience last week when by 12 year old said "Wow, Dad, that sounded pretty good." He actually used the word "Wow". As he is reaching the age when kids no longer see their parents as "cool", that meant alot, even if the adjective he used was merely "pretty good." My wife said I had a bounce in my step for the remainder of the day.
