Hi new_Chris, my mum was from Lancashire and I still hear that lilt of her accent in my ears. Welcome to the best thing since sliced bread for guitar players. Don't fanny around, join TARGET a.s.a.p.! Have fun and see you around. (Swiss)Chris
(not really, I'm English through and through but that's the way the TG folk see me!)
Er, Stuart, since when is Hertfordshire next door to Lancashire?!!
Hi from Lancashire in england
Welcome Chris to TG. TG is a good place to start, but has lots of material for all levels. I wasted a lot of time and reams of paper in the past on bad Tabs I found on the Internet. In TG you can be assured that the Tabs are correct and Neil proves it with his video instruction.

Hey Chris:
Welcome from Ventura, CA (along the west coast of the US).
I hope you decide to take the plunge (just for the record, the water is fine here in the guitar pool at Chateau TG). It has been a truly wonderful experience for me to date. I have excellerated my learning and have met too many new friends to count!
Feel free to ask any questions, and I look forward to seeing you around.

I reckon that this illustrate quite well the difference between how we (from this little country) view distance in comparison to you americans (from a big country). A 4hr drive wouldn't get you far over there - proportionally, of course.

For those who didn't already know that England is the size of an Australian postage stamp, here's where Lancashire and Hertfordshire are located with respect to each other. Lancashire has Liverpool and, until not so long ago, Manchester. Hertfordshire has, well,... not much.neverfoundthetime wrote:I reckon that this illustrate quite well the difference between how we (from this little country) view distance in comparison to you americans (from a big country).
