Thank all of you for the kind words and all the support, I never
expected that much response to my intro post. I can see this is
a fantastic group of people and I am glad to be a part of it. To
answer a couple of the questions I live South East of Seattle right
in between Seattle and Tacoma. Also someone asked about my hand ijury,
I cut the tendon in my ring finger left hand. It took several years
before I was able to bend it enough to play but now it is about 95%
good. I am working on 4 + 20 and Here comes the Sun. I loaded Guitar
pro it is really cool. looking forward to having more lessons on it.
Everyone take care.

Thank you,
Greg B.

Hi Greg and welcome again. I'm the one who asked about hand injuries. I'm glad to hear you feel that your back to 95%. My injury wasn't as severe. While talking care of my friends Doberman I wrapped his long leash (20 ft) around my left hand as I opened the car door. He took off like a stallion and severely sprained the two middle fingers and tore all the skin off the back of my smallest finger. I had two months of hand therapy but they're still swollen and have reduced motion. Did you do anything special to get to where you are now?

Tom,

I did lots of therapy mainly sqeezing nerf balls starting out with
a large one and working down to tennis ball size. Not to discouarge,
but it took about year to regain about 80% function. I had a tendon
that had to be stretched so it was a long painful process. It is good
now except for lack of feeling.

I know it is hard coming back after your wrist or hand gets hurt. I have nerve damage in my left wrist, my Doc gave me Gabbapentin and it makes a big difference I can practice again.
