Welcome aboard smips65. You may be surprised at all there is to learn and do here. But you have only stepped aboard the ship. Join TARGET and you rip the lid off the treasure chest. A great community here, too. If you have any questions at all, just ask; there's plenty of friendly help here.

Hi Smips, welcome! I'm in Virginia, but I am very fond MN as I have a bunch of relatives up there (but all y'all can keep the mosquitos thanks).

I'm a newb to guitar, but I've already learned so much. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for here.

See you around the forums!

Welcome from London. You're sure to enjoy it. I second everyone's recommendation to join the Target program. You won't be disappointed. There's no better resource on or off the web.

Jeff,

Aloha from Paradise! As you have no doubt heard (read) several times now and likely discovered for yourself, TG is The finest website for learning Guitar on the web. What's more, Matt and Neil are working to turn it into the first practical online school for becoming a performing guitar musician. They have just added a vocal coach to the site and we are waiting for him to begin voice lessons!

As great as the site is for the free members, it only scratches the surface of whats really hidden here. Give serious consideration to joining the Target program.

I look forward to seeing you around the forums.
