Hi Martin,
Welcome and thanks for introducing yourself. I'm sure you'll come to terms with the V neck. Mine isn't a sunburst, but has that same lovely smell. It's a stunning guitar.

Tony, He wasn't throwing it AT you, he was throwing it TO you.

Ah ha Andy....I see my mistake! :)

Your apology on behalf of your ancestors is heartily accepted Bill, and your theory is very sound.

Gosh this group gets really fired up when someone introduces themselves. You guys go all crazy and throw beers at each other  eh?
Anyway, I am Izzy from Colorado. I do not have a Martin, but my brother has one that I have played a lot and am first on the list to get it as a hand-me-down. I have a Breedlove acoustic, which has such a beautiful sound. I tend toward classical so also own a Cordoba. Hope to show off both of these guitars on the forum one day. I did make a test video yesterday so I am getting close.
It seems as though many of us are just coming back to guitar after a hiatus. This is certainly the best place to be to do that. You make lots of friends, get all your questions answered, and sometimes get off the forum long enough to practice the great material that is here. Glad you have decided to join the forum. Congrats on getting your dream guitar.
