Just thought I'd say hi. "Hi".

My name is John. I used to play a bit 30 years with a Saturday night church group. I've picked up the guitar now and then over the years but never really learned anything new. Then I found this site. Wow - guitar is fun again.

I'm currently working on Fire and Rain, Ripple, and couple of instrumentals. Someday I'll figure out how to post a video. The problem I have is I jump from one song to the next without really perfecting one first (not uncommon from what I've read here).

I guess I should mention: I'm from New Jersey. I'm married and have 3 kids and I'm about 45 or so. Some of my other hobbies are golf, skateboarding, bowling, and woodworking.

Anyways, good to meet you all, my virtial bandmates.

John E.

Hi John,
Welcome to TG from a neighbor in New Jersey. I've got a similar story. Played years ago; got distracted and now I'm picking it up again later in life. TG is an awesome place to learn and the community here is very supportive. BTW, I'm also working on Ripple and I'm a part time woodworker. Enjoy the site,
Tom
