I live in Wales (UK). I've been playing for about three years - I decided to do something I had always wanted to do when I hit 40! I just wish I had started earlier!

I enjoy all sorts of music Rock, Blues, Country, Jazz and Classical.
My favourites are probably Pink Floyd, Neil Young and Emmylou Harris.
It kind of depends on the weather at the time!

I'm really looking forward to learning some of the great songs and techniques on the site. Looks to be a friendly place too!

Hi, welcome aboard. On the TG site, one surprise leads to another ... really good chance you'll love it here.

Nice to see that you enjoy many styles of music. Have you taken formal lessons in your 3 years of playing, or are you self-taught so far?

Pierre

Hi Mugaduga,

Welcome to TG, good intro you just scrape into the TG age bracket lol. But your choice in music is way up there with a lot of us. Good decision and i'm sure you'll enjoy the teaching on this site as much as the camraderie thats developed between members.

regards

Chas, New Zealand (ex Scot)
