I'm in my fifties and picked up the guitar for the first time recently so I'd be able to play things for kids and grandkids.
Not worried about being cool (when you're bald and wear bifocals not much point in it) but would like to add some structure to my learning.
Greetings to all.

Hello COYPU. Welcome to the "Old Fart Fraternity". This is a great place to learn. Neil has the best lessons and there are many "Old Farts", "Young Farts", and "Non-Farts" here to help you along your way. If you need any help, just ask.

G'Day from one Old Fart to another, this is the place to learn Blowing in the Wind, also the place to shoot the breeze. And the chance to play up a storm on the student upload vids.

Welcome

Chas

Hey Old Fart! Welcome to TG! I'm right there with you!

I hope you find what you're looking for here! After you've become acquainted with the site, and if you are really serious about learning to play the guitar better, please give serious consideration to joining the TARGET program.

Everyone with a bullseye under their avatar is a TARGET members. It is the single best guitar learning investment I've ever made, bar none. Let any of us know if you need more info about the program and check out the sample lesson. It is simply fantastic!!

Good luck and happy playin'! :cheer:
