Well, I guess it's time to introduce myself and say hello to all of you guitar players at TG. I am Paul, (Pacem148) I live outside Buffalo NY, I don't play much but had an acoustic guitar for many years (since the 60's), and watched it collect dust for most of those years. I thought I could teach myself, then realized I needed help, found TG on the web last year and joined but only used the site sparingly even though it's a great site, great music, great lessons and from what I've been reading - great members. I'm still working on getting the fingertips callused but when I do I want to learn a little of everything - it's time to get serious about learning how to play.

Paul

Hi Paul, welcome from Montreal Canada. You will find this site to be addictive and your guitar will no longer collect dust.

Fasten your seatbelt, Paul, your guitar will be dusty no more! This is truly a great place to learn for all levels of guitar players. Your learning will skyrocket, just invest a little of your time into practice. Unfortunately, we can't help with the calluses, but we have all been there, so just tough it out for the next couple of weeks. If you have any questions, or if you just need some help finding your way around the site, just ask.

Glad to have you with us Paul.

Bill

Hey Paul, Big welcome from Oregon! We're glad you joined us. I hope you get to knock the dust off that guitar and you will get your fingers in shape. I've never had calluses like I do now from playing so much. I actually had to file them off some!

It looks like you'll fit right in here with us old-timers. So don't be a stranger on the forum. And by getting actively in the forum and site you'll be inclined to play more, too.

Let u sknow if you ever need any help. Lots of great people and helpers here.

Happy playin' and cheers!! :cheer:

Hi Paul from New Jersey. You're not the only one here guilty of letting your guitar aspirations lie dormant for a while. It's a great place to get things going again. Lot's of luck on your progress and stay in touch.
Tom
