You would definitely benefit to join the Target program, where there are all kinds of beginners lessons, how to make chords,how to strum, some beginner songs, some theory. You can also sign for a month to see the whole program.

You sure can ask questions on the forum, there is always someone who will help you or at least point you in the rigth direction.
