Introduce yourself. What is your name and location?

My name is Trevor, I live Oklahoma.

Tell us a little about your story, you can tell us your age if your game but not necessary (or age bracket, we have a truly diverse group). When did you take up guitar? How long have you been playing? What led you to look for lessons or help, how is it you ended up here?

I'm 18 and have been playing guitar for about 7 years.
I have always taught myself which had been kind of hard, but fun.
I got into because my older brother had been playing pretty much my whole life, and one day he let me borrow a guitar and I fell in love with it.

I would like to have some lessons to improve my playing and make it a little easier for me to learn.

What Kind of Guitar do you play? Do you have any others in your stable? Do you lust after anything else specifically? (all of us here have the 'disease' it seems)

I have four guitars in total.

My first is a ibanez acoustic that I got in a guitar starter kit.
My second is a Ibanez hollow body art core guitar. My first electric.
My third is a knock off brand, but I still love the guitar. Its a solid body made to look like a les paul.

And my fourth guitar is my baby. It's a ibanez acoustic/electric. its sounds amazing and is one of the most beautiful guitars I have ever seen.

What is your favorite music to play? How about to listen to? What kind of playing styles would you like to learn or already know?

I like to play a lot of acoustic, but I want to learn how to play more electric and lead.
I listen to all kinds of music except for rap.

If there was one goal you could accomplish in your learning journey what would that be? or maybe you have many?

My one goal would be to get back into it like I was before I had a car wreck that almost ended guitar for me.

If you are comfortable share with us your work a little, job, business, whatever you want to say.

I am going to school to be a massage therapist, and on the side I am a salesmen.

Anything else you would like to share ? Anything about your family, hobbies outside of Guitar? On the site you will meet everyone from golfers to Gourmet Chef's to car nuts, and sports folk..and everyone in between. Whatever else you may want to add?

I love love love photography.
I have a little business on the side doing it.
I also love to cook, it is a passion on mine.

G'day Trever
Welcome to TG
There should be plenty here to help you improve.
Just get started on some lessons and have fun.
Also don't forget to check out Lucky Man it is a complete lesson and will give you a idea of what the lessons are like in the Target section. Although the free section will probably keep you busy for a while.
Enjoy and don't be afraid to get involved on the forum.
Cheers
Scott
