Welcome aboard. Those bad habits can be fixed in not time. Well, that's not actually true, but nevertheless, this is the place to break them. We've all been there and know the feeling. You will learn alot at this website.

Ian- you can find a lot of help here. Tell us more about you. What you play or want to play, musical tastes, goals etc. This forum can be an enormous resource if you participate. There is virtually no challenge you will have learning to play the guitar that most of us haven't also had.

Hi Ian, welcome from Montreal Canada, plenty of people here have bad habits and are all trying to improve on that. The best teacher is here to tell us how to improve.
