My friends call me the dancer, I am hoping that soon they will be calling me the guitar man. I have always wanted to play the guitar but never got past the sore finger stage. I am now past the sore finger stage and so looking forward to actually playing my new guitar.

Hello,

I can tell you from my experience, you will learn much faster in the Target program than you will on You Tube. As for dancing, my feet don't talk to my brain, that's why I play guitar.

Get the rhythm part first as Neil implores us all to do. Best of luck.

Thank you for the welcome Bob.
I have only been on here for 6 days and still trying to find my way around.

Dancer:

Glad you found us here. Where are you from, and what types of music do you like? If you are past the sore finger stage, you are in good shape.... B)

Peace,

J

Welcome to the program Dancer! We're glad to have you with us!

Please tell us more about yourself. Where do you live, how old you are, your tastes in music and maybe what you hope to accomplish on your musical journey with the guitar. We are a tight knit community here and we really enjoy getting to know one another!

It sounds like you are new to this wonderful instrument. There is an amazing amount of knowledge and experience on this forum so if you ever feel lost, or frustrated or just want to share an experience just jump right in and we'll all help you as much as we can.

We've all struggled with the F chord or the dreaded Barre Chords, or clean pull-offs or like you mentioned sore fingers. It's hard to find a problem someone here hasn't dealt with before.

So don't be a stranger and good luck on your guitar journey!

Cheers! :cheer:
