Thanks,

I have been to "Sunny" Seattle and currently have a friend there.

She is Jealous of our 70 degree winter days here, especially after your recent ice storm.

I hope to come up your way some time.

The last time I was there, I flew from Lake Union to Victoria, BC.

Sure would like to do it again.

Cheers.

Now I feel really bad.

Everyone is lamenting the cold and I am basking in an unusually warm winter here.

It was 70 degrees the other day, when we would normally be in the low teens (F).

Do you have a particular "Scottish" song that you migh suggest I pick up?

My tendancy is to lean towards fingerstyle folk rock.

Hey Venessa,

Now I get it, when I reply, it is not to a single user but just an addendum to the thread.

You would think that after a career in the computer industry I would know how to use them, Ha.

So, I see that this is really a great community and I hope to do my civic duty and contribute.

Thanks everybody for the big welcome!

Hey Marc,

I am from Fayetteville, Arkansas USA

Actually, I just picked up "Lucky Man" by ELP as my first attempt to learn from Neil.

It has been a while since I have played and I need to get my fingers back into shape.

My Epiphone Classical Nylon was just the ticket.

On another note, I am a big fan of Guitar Pro and have a huge database of songs.

It is really cool to practice along with all the other instruments.

I have attached a version of Luck Man.
Hi John, I also have the songbook and poke at it very often to learn new songs. I did a video here once with GP pro as the accompaniment for the other instruments,

Glad you enjoy the site.

Marc
