I've had this guitar for about 18 years my wife gave me for Christmas. Was living in Flagstaff Arizona and purchased the guitar from Flagstaff Music center.
My teacher was Steve Parks and he was an awesome classical player, back then he was a student at NAU. Where is Steve Parks these days?
I took lessons for 3 years.
I had stopped playing my guitar for 15 years because my motor skills are not all that good and lot interest in playing.

We'll, I've picked up the guitar again and giving it another try.

Alvarez5011,

Hi and welcome. You should be able to make up those fifteen years easily. I hadn't touched a guitar in thirty-five (and didn't know all that much either) and this site has been a great place to start up again. I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I do--and learn a lot too. So get to work!

A big HI from Sydney.

There's so much to take advantage of at TG that you'll find the hardest aspect of your TG life is staying focused on the things you want to learn. The bottom line is that you can dip in from time to time or completely immerse yourself in the lesson library and everything else that's available. It all depends how much time you have and where you want to go.

My advice is upload a video as often as you can. It's a great way to motivate yourself to finish learning songs. It's also great fun.

Enjoy the journey.

Michele
