Joined the lite membership last night. Stray cat strut is a great lesson. However, These Days is not much more than the same overview video I saw on YouTube.
Feel I should get another song pic for this month. Unless there is more to it then what I can see!

Mike,
You are correct, this is a pretty bare bones and actually inaccurate version of this great song. I've attached my rendition of it that I did a couple years ago. the progressions are the same as Neil's but it really has to be done finger style. PM me if you'd like some more info. on how to play this.

Hi MJK,

Welcome to TG and yes, the lesson on These Days is very basic. It was based more on the version on For Everyman, which is more piano based in the first place. I was not familiar with his version from Solo Acoustic until a few years after it came out. I will definitely think about an addition based on his fingerpicking style, which is fairly generic and easy if you have done any similar songs.

Nice job my friend!
Was hoping Neil's lesson would include some of the slide electric guitar licks. They run through the entire original version

Was disappointed that there are no electric guitar(Slide?) or lead lick in general, that run throughout the entire original version.
