Hi All,
My name is Alan, I'm from Essex, UK.
I'm a very mature student (61 yrs old - 2018)
Very keen to re-learn a love of the guitar. I've played for many years. Though some of the breaks have been longer than my playing stints.
Have a love of UK folk music, but equally love any good guitar music. (Truth is I love the sound of the guitar).
Really looking forward to starting some lessons.

Alan

Hi Alan and welcome. I am in Scotland and have been a member for years.
You are a similar age to lots of members. Age is no barrier.
Enjoy yourself, there are plenty of lessons to choose from.

Hi, Alan!

I'm 57 and just got back into guitar a little over a year ago. You've found a caring, nurturing and fun band of folks, including staff who sincerely love helping us wannabes find love and joy in guitar music. So much welcome to you and very much look forward to being part of your journey. This is a family as much as anything else.

Mark

Hey Aidan,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to Totally Guitars!

The most common reason we have for the lessons not playing is related to Flash player not being enabled on the browser you are using. We recommend using Chrome as it's the most user friendly with the site and here's a tutorial on how you can enable flash, let us know if that resolves the issue.

Thanks again!
Jameela

And what do you know, it worked! :cheer:

Couldn't view the lessons all of a sudden. But i did remember there was a little tutorial out there (this one), which might fix the problem.

Maybe an idea to keep this thread up on the forums for anyone who all of a sudden has the same problems? I thankfully found it by putting 'chrome' in the search-box.

Just a thought. Thanks Jameela!
