I am an older student and have been buying lessons for a few years now. I just like to say what a great job you all do and what a fantastic variety is covered here. I especially enjoyed the theory lessons and technique lessons. A recent lesson I did was the Coventry Carol lesson, where Neil taught how to harmonize with a melody.. That was one of the most useful lessons I’ve ever had, even counting private lessons on other instruments . The technique had never been taught to me before. Similar lesson on how to recognize which jazz cord substitutions can work in re-harmonization would be very good. I know TG has one lesson on re-harmonization but I didn’t really understand the boundaries of what Can and cannot be done on that lesson..

Hi Robert,

Welcome to TG and I am glad to hear you have enjoyed some lessons. I am not sure what else you have looked at but the lesson on The Star Of The County Down does something similar to Coventry Carol, as I recall.

Neil
