As I mentioned on the News a couple weeks ago, we have a second family in 2021, using the nest from 2020. Shortly after the last babies fledged I saw a bird hanging around under the awning again, even testing this year's nest before settling down in last year's and laying a couple eggs around April 5. One hatched this week on Monday, April 19 and the second two days later. I will keep the live feed up here again, restarting daily as the overnight video is quite dull.

Hey Folks,

A short update - Things are almost interesting as of Sunday May 2 as the babies are moving around a bit more and Mama drops in about every 30 minutes with a little nourishment. I have been updating the live feed at the top of the original post every day as we head into the last 7-10 days or so.

Hey Gang,

I missed streaming yesterday's video and they have changed a lot in the last 2 days. Be sure to check the live feed again at the top in the original post.

It is Saturday, May 8 and I think we are down to the last few days of being treated to these baby birds. They are starting to flap their wings and wrestle for room in the nest. Mama comes by about every 30 minutes or so, feeds them, and takes off for the next round.

Enjoy,

Neil
