That was VERY nice of you to get that going. It is people like you who really remind me on a regular basis how lucky I was to have found this site. It was a pleasure to have met you at the IGC, and I am also very glad that you are more active in the forum now... :)

Thanks everyone! I've got more in mind whether you can ask for it or not :) It's a lot easier for me than singing solfege, which is what I was up until 3am last night doing for my ear training class in addition to the two classical guitar pieces and a piano improv I had to record for my other classes :woohoo:

Jeez, Steve.... Have some spare time do we.... ;) I remember singing solfege when I first started. My instructor was pretty insistent about it, and it did help. I just struggled (and still do) on trying to sing it backwards and also when skipping steps. Great exercise to start getting those tones stuck in your head. Certainly something I need to get back to. :)
