This isn't a new artist but wouldn't this song be a fun lesson?

Not "New" artists, but new to me....

Pullman

"Two Parts Water"

"To Hold Down A Shadow"

Also, Umphrey's McGee (a Chicago jam band)

"End of the Road"

It would be interesting to see how to arrange these, as a couple seem to have multiple guitar parts.

Vanessa:

I am not really sure how well this artist lends herself to acoustic guitar, but I watched a "Guitar Center Sessions" the other night (I DVR the series) and I liked what I heard.

Her name is Meiko, and here are two songs from her:

"Leave the Lights On"

"Stuck On You"

I thought her interview was pretty cool, and she had a neat view on her work and the industry as a whole. Also, I am not really sure how much popularity she has, as I rarely ever listen to the radio anymore. Mostly a Pandora guy now, and I miss much of the new pop that hits the airwaves.

Just a left-field suggestion, I think it would be a killer acoustic song, though I have no idea how to render all the elements on a single guitar, I know a man who could...

Liz Longley - I have posted some of her stuff before, a graduate of Berklee Boston,Bachelor's - songwriting.

Van is a local girl we have been following as of late, her Stevie Nicks covers are really something, here is one of her own though.
