Hey Folks,
Once again we have a nest just outside TG Central. There was one egg on Monday, Feb. 15, and a second one three days later. Right now Mama is mostly sitting on the eggs and running for food. I will try to keep the stream here and update occasionally as the url may change from time to time. I will not keep it running 24/7, which is why it may change every day. Have a look at times and enjoy.

The eggs hatched last Monday (March 1) and Mama now only comes by with food and to huddle down for the night.

Congratulations Mrs. C on the new babies. They seem very sweet... and hungry! Hope to see them out and about soon.

Here we are on March 10 and Part 2 is a 10-minute segment from the last 3 days.

Here are the next few days.

Part 3 starts on Wednesday March 10 and goes up to Saturday morning March 13. Mama stays away at night but seems to start feeding them every 15-20 minutes as day breaks. By the end you'll see them stretch their little wings, wrestle for room in the nest, and even pop up a head and look around.
At one point I had to clean off the camera lens as they send out little missiles regularly.

Part 4 covers another couple days, Saturday, March 13-Tuesday, March 16. Most of these scenes are Mama feeding after grabbing a little nectar from our bird of paradise plant in the front yard. They are starting to stretch their wings a little more and there will some of that in Part 5, coming along in a few days.

Such precious little babies, look just like their mama. Getting big, may be leaving the nest soon.

Part 5 covers just 2 days, Wednesday and Thursday March 17-18, in about 10 minutes. It is just highlights of feeding, jostling for space, and flapping their wings. Not much lift yet but they get bigger and stronger every day.
