Friday and Saturday, March 19-20. They are big enough now to perch on the edge of the nest. Lots of flapping and frequent visits from Mama with food.

Part 7 is just one day, Sunday, March 21. Mama comes by about every 20 minutes and the little ones are exercising furiously, even getting a little lift at times. I am sure tomorrow will be the last we see of the family this year,

It was clear Sunday, that by Monday, March 22 the little ones would be fledging. Part 8 includes some test flights, although Baby #1 took off at 8:15 (5:25 in the video) and never looked back, as far as I could tell.
Baby #2 needed a bit more time, and as such took quite a few short flights over the next 3 hours. Mama kept her well-fed until she flew off at 11:38 (14:23 in the video). Mama made a few return trips for some kind of housekeeping over the next 30 minutes and now I expect they are adjusting to life in the trees around TG Central.
