I drive a '94 Honda Civic with 194,000 miles. I'm trying to make it last for another 5 years and then put Vintage Plates on it for fun.

Haha, vintage Civic, I have to say that would the first I have seen with the plates, although I still see the occasional gen 3 out there going 35 on the highway.

I feel some amount of comaraderie, I have driven two 1990 Integras to their death (both my fault) one of them I got over 200k before running over a sidewalk sideways at about 50 mph ... turns out that's no good for the suspension, who knew?

Now I have upgraded slightly to a 2004 Lancer, I have been wanting an evo for about ten years now, but this might be as close as I get.

I have "most" of my kids grown and off the insurance, so I went out last year and bought a Porsche Boxster the day after Christmas. Absolutely worthless in Chicago from December to March, and difficult to avoid the potholes in April...but nonetheless a gas. Like driving a go kart on off ramps. Killer sound system, and why not in a two seater with 11 speakers incl a sub woofer...

Sorry if this sounds like bragging.;/but i was raised in a little walk up apartment in the city, so the Porsche was earned.

I drive a Renault Megane. The french know how to make things difficult,If I want to replace a headlight I have to practically dismantle the front end.I still love it though. But it's not the prettiest car i've ever seen. Not like those huge big cars you have in the States.I'm going to Texas on holiday next year and will hire a car.Any suggestions what car i shoud go for ?
