Thanks for that David

I hadnt thought about PAL/NTSC, and whether we record images in 4:3 or 16:9
My camera is HD, and seems to do "pillarbox" style, but I do have options. Movie Maker can be all of the above!

As this is a test and we havent sorted formats out, I'll post wav files for electric guitar in next couple of days.

Andy sends the following message:

I prefer if everyone could record audio and video separately and post both files. Label them YourName_Audio and YourName_Video when you put them in 4Shared.

Video can be shot in 16:9 or 4:3 because I will be cropping images for the final. Please send NTSC. Not sure if I have a converter.

For some reason, Andy cannot access the forum... I told him he was caught exceeding the legal limit of 3000 posts :-)
Hope he'll be back in contact here soon....
Chris

Hi Guys and girls.... if anyone has something they'd like to upload to 4shared at this stage, that would be good. Maybe we can mix some guitar tracks in with the basic % bass track for the singers to have a little more meat on the bone to work with.

I will get something posted to 4shared by tonight. Use it, or not, as you see fit. Just guitar strumming, background stuff.

I'll be working on it today as well Chris. Finally got Audacity so I'm all set now. I hope to have something to you within a few days.

Look forward to it Mark!
Tammy is working on a vocal and when I can shake off a bit of a cold, I'll have another go at improving what I've done so far.
Anyone else made any progress?

I, too, have had a cold for the last week or two. Head and sinuses pretty stuffed up, but it's starting to clear up now, so I will be getting back on working on the vocals. I'm laying down a bunch of tracks to see what works and get my timing down.

Any tracks with more guitar stuff on it will be great.
