Even dárker?? I thought that Downbound Train ís one of his darkest songs, nów I'm even more curious! ;)

(And I really don't think we're limited to one song per thread! :) )

As it so happens Downbound Train is one of my favourites too, Vanessa - it's a great song that's really well suited to an acoustic version. But I'm not going to race you for it! I'm thinking of something a little darker.........

I wonder if we're limited to one song per thread. This could become a lifetimes work.

Tony,
Very well done! Good, smooth strumming and nice singing as well...and that guitar sounds wonderful. Great to hear from you again.

Hi Tony

I thought you played and sung that really well.
I'm not a springsteen fan but that probably the one song Ilike.

You do an extraordinary thing when you play the Bb. Wrapping your little finger over the third finger to give it extra support.
I tried that and it was physically impossible for me to do

I saw this to(pinky) and thought it was for pressure,,for me this chord is not to bother for some high strings and many guitarist do that,,but then it is more of a power chord.

Well I spent today at the races. I can say for sure I am a better guitarist than a gambler....which is faint praise.

Bob thanks man. You are a supportive guy on the forum.

Mark I got such a kick out of you post. Glad you friend liked my effort.

Stuart mate thanks. I owe you a letter...it will be on it's way soon.

Pierre you are a legend. Glad you liked this.

Tammy thanks eh! I will be onto that other tune soon!

Craig thanks my friend. Always appreciate your support.

Willem same for you man. You are a supportive dude.

Mark you are without doubt a great player. I so appreciate positive comments from you. The little finger thing is a bit subconscious. I'll have to see if I can do without it!

That video was more than just a great start to a busking thread. It was also a lesson for me as the quality of the video allowed me to watch and play along. Beautifully done. You should put that on your set list as you achieve your open mic night goal later this year. I honestly think you should satisfy that goal sooner rather than later.
