Busking 'Angie'!
I've worked on this since joining TG over a year ago! Hadn't played it for a while, but came back to it after Neil added the chord solo part to the Target lesson (thanks Neil!)

Also a big thanks to Dave- who uploaded his version of 'Angie' to the student review channel. I stole a few ideas from you Dave.
Cheers!

BTW- you'll notice I still haven't mastered that F/A streeeeetch I mentioned in a different thread. It'll come.
Also BTW- DAMN I'M GOIN GREY!!

Great job Al!!! Pretty impressive as well. I can't get my head around this song for the life of me. I suppose it's my Norwegian Wood......... Anyway great to see another upload from you. I can't believe that sound came out of the GSmini. Was that plugged in for strait to the camera's mic? Regardless it sounded very very good.

Willem- Thanks for your comment. I know you've been working on 'Angie' as well.. I'd like to see where you're at with it.

Vanessa- Thank you. I have been away for a while- and will be again soon. But it's good to dip my feet again. :)

Mark- I know what you mean. We all have THAT song that's our nemesis. For me, it's usually also one part in every song I do that trips me up. Keeps us on our toes I guess.
Also, yes that's the GS Mini. I don't have a pickup in it yet, so it's recorded with an external mic. Mr. Martin is in the shop getting his action lowered.

Al,

That was wonderful. It sounded pretty perfect to me. I'm really impressed with the fluidity with which you combine flat picking, short targeted strumming and more expansive ones. Magic. It all sounds great and looks so smooth too.

And you even have more grey than me. Great to see.

Great job.

Thanks Michele. As I mentioned- I've worked on this for a long time now. But I don't think I'll ever be done tweaking it. Helen says she's mystified by the targeted strumming/ melody. Says it doesn't look like I'm hitting the notes!

Also glad I made you feel good about your hair. Now I've got to find someone on here with more grey than me!!
;)

Al,

Very nice. If there are any errors, you have disguised them well. I don't see any. The time you have spent on it really shows. Good job. Thanks for sharing.
