Tony, I don't know if it is courage or not, bu thanks anyways :laugh:Bud, I think it takes a fair amount of courage to take what is surely one of the World's most iconic tunes and interpret it. I thought yours was appropriately done and I really enjoyed it. I saw you wince a couple of times over the words, but I admired that you are a good enough player to improvise and not miss a beat. I liked the picking, and of course you have such a strong voice. I think it's a winning combination.

Buddy,
Excuse the term here but that took some balls. Well done. To change up a song like this is really going out on a limb. I looked at this without trying not to reference the original and came away really enjoying it. Keep at this and tinker a bit more and you'll be delivering a very nice version the next time you are at open mic. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Buddy,
Really nice version, there. I've been fiddling on and off with "Let it Be" as a fingerpicking tune for a pretty long time, it seems to stand so well on it's own that way, without any need for occasional chord strums. By experimenting this way, it becomes apparent that it is based on Pachelbel's "Canon in D Major". I don't think that this basic inspiration is noticeable if the tune is played using whole chords.
So ... fingerpicking "Let it Be" ? You are preaching to the choir here !
Lovely !
