Busking 3 or 4 Chord Songs
Marc,
You REALLY got me smiling (especially with the "oh no solo"). That was great fun.
I've got to learn this song. It will definitely help with my barres too. You made it look so easy.
Fab addition to this thread. Another fun, fun, fun one from you. I love the cheeky quality that you get doing these songs.
I really enjoyed it.

Marc, you have a groove here that's real fun: rock steady guitar, irreverent vocal delivery, right on track !
After about half of the song, it even gets hard to stay sitting down, great rhythm !
Super post !

Marc,
I thought my metronome was on as I listened to your post but I realized it was your right hand.....
Great job.
One thought, at the end you let the chord(s) ring out, I would have liked to hear them ringing a bit more but I think(?)
you were letting your right hand mute them. That is something I do to, making sure I feel the rhythm but ...... go ahead and
let them ring, so what if they buzz, mine always do.
Thanks for posting Marc.
Matt

hey Marc, you are one rocker who is well and truly out of the closet
. Love the Kinks and you've really got it going there!

Thank you guys for commenting
Thank you Bob, the percussive part compensate for the drum and bass . This is what Neil was showing (along these lines anyway) I liked it.
Thank you Kevin for commenting, The voice could be louder but because of my setup (minimal setup) I have to yell but it is not coming out balanced. If I can just move my butt and work on the new setup that I already have, it would be better (not sure if louder singing is good though  )
Thanks Willem, tapping is good but not too late
Hi Michele, thanks for the comments. I am glad you noticed my solo part  Because I practiced with the original it seemed appropriate to do the strumming part during the solo. But the solo is a bit longer than the strumming part I played which gets boring quickly on its own so it was not the same length. I thought it was a great bar chord exercise. I could not do it at first. Because of the quick change they would be muffled most of the time. Originally it was done on an electric guitar which without being way easier (I tried on mine) the smaller strings and fretboard makes easier than on an acoustic.
Thank you Daryl, I will be back home in 10 days and we will finish that conversation on the setup that I need to get going.
Hi Jim, thanks for stopping by, yes he lesson is very well done as usual
Thank you Pierre, I hope you were not having dinner when you had to stand up
Hi Matt, thank you for your comments. I was trying to cut the sound by loosing up the left hand to increase the percussion. Are you referring to the very last chord?
Thanks Chris, it sure is difficult not to get excited when playing this song.
Craig, thanks for your kind words. I have to get back to come together (a Beatles' phrase  )

Marc,
I love when you let your inner rock star come out and play! That was so much fun to watch and I had a big smile on my face with both your "Oh no solo!" and your ending "Yeah." bits especially. You do know how to make a fun video. I'm definitely one of your groupies
