All the other notes are 8th notes (2 and 3 and 4 and). So the first pinch (quaternote=two 8th notes) takes twice as long as all the other notes.

Oh ábsolutely!! Standard notation would make it clear immediately!

Still, the tab does indicate something about it, the vertical line below the pinch means a quarternote, the vertical lines, which are connected with a uh.....uh......horizontal line, mean that those are all 8th notes (if they were connected with double horizontal lines it would be 16th notes.)

Nicely played Ness, just what we would expect. I like your cutaway classical guitar also. Has it a slightly narrower neck or is it full width?

What make and model is it please?
