I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the idea that you have a daughter old enough to get a tattoo!

... Shell, really, I'm about to have lunch.... don't put pictures in my poor vulnerable mind!So a tatt on the Inside of my arm would be perfect. it would be much less effective on my butt I'm guessing.
Since we're on the topic....any members out there with ink they're proud of? or embarrassed by?
My tattoo is, appropriately for this site, a guitar. It also represents some of the things I do that that make me grin. My daughter designed it and we both got tattoos before she left for her Peace Corps assignment in Africa. She got the Tibetan symbols for 'compassion' to represent her recent stay at a Buddhist retreat in Dharamsala.
The fret board is a paddleboard paddle, the body of the around the soundhole is a dualsport motorcycle wheel/tire, and the rest is an artists representation of surfable waves at the beach. Its faded a little due to too much sun but I thought it amazing how all six strings came out.
I tried to post a picture but can't seem to figure it out.

I'll show it to you at camp next year. It's too racy for TG.dennisg wrote:Haha! Where's your proof?I wish I'd gotten a guitar-related tat instead of the one I actually got: take a look at my avatar, and you'll see what I mean.
