Robert Burns

I like Dougie McLean's version of the song, he's a great Scottish singer / songwriter.

I had a great time at the IGC. It was great meeting everyone who participates on the forum and others who don't.
I obviously travelled a fair distance and that in itself was an adventure. After the first days lessons I thought, well if nothing else happens
then it's already been worth the money, it was that good. The people giving the lessons were just top notch and the ideas and even the books,
cd's, Dvd and program on cd that I purchased were top notch. I think everyone who was there will have been rejuvenated and working harder now
as we were all exposed to some great and in some cases (Al Stewart) interesting, creative and brilliantly entertaining people.
It was great meeting Neil, I need say no more there, except of course the camp was a huge success with him being at the helm and his lovely wife Nani, his sister and his great team were just outstanding!! I have to thank Neil and Matt for making this opportunity available to me and everyone else.
I attended two concerts, Al Stewart and then Muriel Anderson. At this point I think I was suffering from talent exposure overload!!
We had met so many great guitar/teacher/players it was almost overwhelming but simply magnificent at the same time.
A special mention has to go out to some of the nicest people I have ever met and there were many believe me, the ones I am thinking of are Jason (Music Junkie)
and Rick (Big Bear), Wiley, a mind of great information, Lynn (AuntLynnie) and our very own Vanessa. I also met Fly on the wall stars Sandy and Fred who are both great people to be around and talk guitar with. The list goes on and on and on.................Having a common interest such as the guitar is a great ground for stimulating conversation.
I'm going to shut up now Willem as I may be rambling a bit after a long two days and I need some sleep. I will get around to reading everyone elses postings in the next few days or so. B) but that is my short update for now.
