Hey Marc! It's great to hear from you. Thanks so much for your comments on my post. I didn't know the words before Nessa posted the lesson. But, I've been listening to the original a bit and I had the words in front of me which is why i appear to be reading at times. In front of the camera my mind often goes blank. Actually it didn't take very long at all to get it down. Absolutely no sweat for you Marc.

So I thought I'd throw another one up. I've got time at the moment so I'm taking advantage of being on holidays. Hmmmm...perhaps I should get rid of my t-shirt tan while I'm at it right!? B) :P It's still hot here.

This is Little Song by Sarah Jarosz. I really love her stuff. Vanessa has a great lesson on this one too. It's another fun one that's not too hard, four chords.

This will be the last one for a little while, well a few days at least. :) I don't want to wear out my welcome.

I hope you like it.

Shel

That was very charming Shel! Nicely played and sung again. What tremendous improvements all-round you have made since video nr. 1. You have really improved your camera presence to a point where its Ness-like :) . And that Little Song after a Nick Drake number, is just what the doctor ordered! That and Chocolate

You mentioned thinking about a hybrid. I played one for 25 years and its my most beat-up guitar but its been in its case since I got the BSG which I am only unfaithful to with the occasional outing with the 12 string. If I had a nice classical guitar as you have, then the hybrid would probably have to fnd a new home. Just sayin'. :)

Pretty little song! Love that 1st chord sound. Keep them coming. Perhaps you can get 12 uploads done while on holiday and then you can "relax" at work. :-)

Congrats on another winner Shel. I learnt this recently and enjoyed your version, very authentic to the original.

If you'd like to learn it, check out Vanessa's fantastic lesson.

Happy New Year! Anyone else want to sneak in some eleventh hour uploads for 2014?

Shel

Thanks for starting the New Year with a song.Great way to ring in the year. The very best to you and Sue!!
Another song with a nice bass line.I like the way you slide from the A chord to the C shaped chord.Keeping the middle finger on the fret board is a good way of getting back to the little walking bass line.Dose Ness show that in the lesson??
BRAVO!!!! Sweet Lady.
Kev.
P.S. Watch out for sun burn when you work on that tan.

Hi Michele,

It was great to see another video from you - on Little Song.
That brought back memories of one of my 2014 highlights - getting to meet you in person!

Keep it up,

Jim
