Sorry to rain on the thought but I am not familiar with the song, who are we hearing there? it was a random improv excursion...Familyman4 wrote:

Neil, it was a great end to the news maybe you'll explain in a lesson your thoughts on how to play like this sometime.Neil Wrote:

Actually, there is some similarity to "Turn The Beat Around" by Gloria Estefan:Neil Wrote:Neil, I did wonder about that.Sorry to rain on the thought but I am not familiar with the song, who are we hearing there? it was a random improv excursion...

Bill
I find it difficult to hear all what Neil played on the acoustic steel string in "Turn The Beat Around" by Gloria Estefan:
It would be great to have a lesson on what Neil did play.
Maybe it's the start of a news Neil Hogan instrumental ?
Maybe some tab notation too
I liked the very end too.

Without going back to look at it I seem to remember a descending progression from Am, through G to F, and then a similar ascent, a lot like the progression in Turn The Beat Around. Not sure what happened after that but maybe I'll take a listen sometime.
