Since the first 3 minute challenge in December 2023, I made a new year resolution to play for at least 5 hours a week. This year’s resolution was to increase that to at least 6 hours. It’s certainly improved my playing although I don’t think I’ll ever be a good player. The great thing about the challenge is that I enjoy playing much more.
I recently bought the fingerpicking packs and am slowly working through them. I’ve just got my head around Helplessly Hoping so I’ll start on Landslide tomorrow. It’s not a song I am familiar with so that’ll make it a bit more difficult.

"Killing Me Softly", "Rainbow Connection", "Sometimes In Winter", dexterity drill, noodled a little with Billy Strings' "Away From The Mire". The years are taking a toll; I can play better than I ever thought possible, but what I can't do is remember what I'm trying to play!

Doing mostly strumming because the fingertips on my right had tend to split in the dry weather, but also working on the left hand stretches in Winter Wonderland. I might be ready by next Christmas.

Playing again after a Looong hiatus. Practicing mostly finger-picking patterns with open chords. Muscle memory seems fine, just working on hand strength.
