Part of it is timing, part of it is lack of self-confidence. Most of it is that I don't have any local friends that I can get together with. I have acquaintances, but I don't really know them well enough to feel comfortable with my lack of skills yet. I am hoping to change that in the near future though. I have always been told that jamming is one of the ways to improve faster.....
