Whilst this Busking Thread is brilliant; it is a shame that you can sneak in unannounced. William and Vanessa that was really nice, Mr Metronome and Ms Solo artiste! That worked very well together.

Bravo!

Note to Admin we need a way to highlight when new songs are added to these threads, big flashing lights or something.

Willem and Ness,

What a team. Looks like you had a lot of fun. It sounded FANTASTIC.

Willem fabulous rhythm. Ness I loved all of your additions. Just perfect.

And I love It....more fun than a barrel of monkeys! I hope you guys keep getting together like this. AWESOME!!!!
I got the Troggs/ REM song first, but this is just as fun. Way to GO you two...

Did you two tackle any other tunes at your jam session?
(Because I hear there is this American singer named Tracy Chapman that I hear is absolutely amazing.)

I alway's loved this song because of the acoustic way the Beatles performed it and when you play with friends you can also add some percussion,,after this day (the meeting with Vanessa) i love it even more and set a goal for myself to learn the additions see did in this song,,,

Wow, how sweet was this? I am sorry for getting here so late. I was gone all day yesterday and only this morning found out you two had posted these (thanks to a little birdy who whistled in my ear).

Great job to both of you. Willem did a nice job providing some solid, steady rhythm guitar on this. He really was the backbone of this song. As for Ness- beautiful lead playing and lovely singing. I loved the whole package!

Plus, it looks like you had a really fun time playing together. Great energy!

Pearly Shells on the ukelele

Just for fun! My 8 year old daughter received a ukulele for Christmas this year. I figured she wasn’t going to learn it on her own, so I set about trying to learn how to play it. Thankfully, TG has a few great ukulele lessons, including one on this Hawaiian classic. It was a fun song to learn and I thought it would make a good contribution to Michele’s busking love songs thread. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed learning it.

I have to say I found it a bit ironic to be singing a song about the beach and the sun on a cold Wisconsin winter day with snow falling outside!

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

LATE, Suzi?!?!? I'll see your 'late' and raise you a 'light years late'. I just found this little jewel. I can't believe I missed this a month ago. I will blame it on working on the road and bad internet connections at the time.
WOW!!! That was sooooo cool. It is amazing that you picked it up so quickly. The playing and singing were just perfect. And your C# has never sounded better! Thanks so much for posting 'Pearly Shells", it sure brought a big smile to my face.

By the way, Suzi, your record is still perfect for not missing the chair when your sit down. :) :)
