Songs I have down pat!
Interesting subject as I have been doing the same. Over the years I have learned and forgotten so many songs. Some times I'll remember one and try to play it only to have forgotten an important part. So I have started a list of songs that I can play solo complete with vocals. I also have a ring binder with the tabs of all the songs I sing and play on guitar. Also, I have a usb memery stick with the mp3 songs, mp4 videos, and tabs or any instructions for all the songs on my list. I currently have 36 songs I on my list. So, if a song averages 3 1/2 minutes in length, then I have about 2 hours and 6 minutes of songs if I don't take a break. Obviously I can't play every song every day, hence the list (and binder) which I will play down regularly to keep in practice and memory. I am courious if any one else would be intersted in trading song tabs via e-mail?
Here is my list:
01) Against The Wind - Bob Seger
02) Baby Blue – Badfinger
03) China Grove – Doobie Brothers
04) Constant Craving – KD Lang
05) Dance The Night Away - Van Halen

I concur, Daryl! White Lion and Queensryche jump out at me. But I gotta admit I'm sure curious about K.D. Lang & Ronnie Milsap.
Would love to hear any of 'em netracer...if you are so inclined.

was kind of my original idea-- go back over all the songs I've learned and essentially re-learn them AND keep track of them to keep them fresh.
another thing I found was that a lot of the song I've learned don't necessarily lend themselves to 'jam sessions'. A lot of chord solos- which I like to play- but not good for a group of people. gotta have the campfire version in your back pocket.
you've been peeking.. which is cool!Ah the list is growing, how great! :cheer:
