GoodBye Blue Sky
It needs a little work (tempo, pulloffs), but it was fun to learn. This is in Drop D tuning, which is a little different than Neil's part 1 lesson which I believe is in standard tuning. I wanted to learn this song for several reasons, but mostly because the picking pattern is different than the ususal alternating bass pattern that I've done to death at this point.

Jay,
Well done. Yeah a bit on the fast side. (I have the same issue with this song). I like the the different picking second time through the chorus. I've been playing this one on and off now for a few months but it never quite gets to where it needs to be. If you have the TAB to this version please send it along. Great job so far!! It's good also to see another video from you. Been a while now.

Good job Jay. A great song in my opinion. I like your version. This is not an easy song to play. I messed around with it for awhile but was never very happy with it. Difficult to keep those bass notes coming. You've encouraged me to take another look at it. I enjoyed watching. Thanks,
Craig

Jay it looked all good to me. I love your playing and your tempo was rock steady throughout in my opinion. I'm not debating if it's a little fast or not, but the thing is you stayed at the same tempo which I would have thought is the important thing. Beautiful piece of music very well played I think. I agree with Mark, it's been too long between videos for you. Thanks for this one.
Loved your son doing his best to get his head into your video as well. I have a tribe of those myself which is why the man cave is a great idea.
Cheers.

Jay,
Great job. I don't know this song - oops, but I really liked your version. The bass was very solid and the picking in general sounded very fluid, clear and fab.
Great to see you back in the saddle. I always love your work.

That was glorious Jay! Loved it! And so cute, your boy popping his head into shot for us. He gets pizza and you get a couple ice cold beers so you can sit down and celebrate a job well done together
.
On the video side of things... maybe an extra light on you from the front would stop the flashing which occurs occasionally. I think your camera is picking up the white wall in the background which is causing trouble with the automatic settings. I've been using a table light to help me out on my videos. Al would know more about that.
