That WAS beautiful! I'd never heard that song before, but you can be sure that I'll be playing it this week! Not sure I'm going to hit those high notes nearly as nicely as you are, though. Is the original also capod at the 7th? Just curious if he sings it just like you or down an octave (I realize I could go listen to the original, which I will certainly do later!). I also loved how relaxed you seemed, loved the little smiles at the beginning. I also thought you put a lot of emotion into a very moving song.

Good effort on this one! Thanks for posting and keeping the thread going! I also wasn't familiar with this song but like the fact you provided enough info for others to give it a try. I was just a bit distracted by the noise issues and waiting for the F-word Did I miss it? I will have to listen to it again.

Don't know what was hotter this morning.You playing and singing or this cup of Tea.My vote is you friend.

I feel ya on the sound thing.Work on a song,got it sounding good,tape it.And then when you play it back the sounds not what you were looking for.Not only do have to learn to play the guitar.Now we need to become sound engineers.The sound was good,didn't take away from the performance as much as you might have thought.
