Busking bob dylan

Hi Daryl - good advice on the strumming - I will keep working on it. I did upgrade my recording setup to a low cost dynamic mic and 4 channel mixer both from radio shack and recommended a while ago by dan/wrench. And I have a pickup for my gs-mini. I will try it with various volume levels on the mix.
Marc - good suggestion - I never think to play along with the record. I'll try it.
Willem - I actually took a couple of dylan workshops from a local guitar teacher and have arrangements for 20 dylan songs. For this song, I have an arrangement for a lead guitar also. So, yes, I will be posting more dylan songs.
Tony - I do love the dylan songs and have listened to them so much it's easier for me to remember the lyrics and phrasings! And your video of the Church song was great - Sorry for not commenting on it

Jim, I think you started out a bit rushed so at first the voice and strumming were not in synch. Then you relaxed a bit and things settled in to make a better match between the two. May I suggest you try to vary your attack on the strings, not hitting all of them on each strum ?
I appreciate Dylan greatly, good thing for you to sing it. It's a pleasure to see you coming along with this type of tune !

Hey Jim. Nice to see a new video form you. Is that a pick you're using now. Good job expanding your attack.
You really DO sound like Dylan. You've got his intonation down and everything.
Keep them coming.

Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice"
Returning after a long hiatus with several uploads today. All of these were recorded directly from the camera mic in one take without any post-processing. That's the only way I seem able to make time for this.
I first learned Chet Atkins' arrangement of this song, but don't play it that way any more. This song is about a guitar accompanying pain and not about virtuousity, in my opinion.
Pardon the pyjamas.
PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

That was fabulous Stuart, Welcome back! What a great performance and so well sung... that Cat Stevens in you is pushing unmistakably through again. I really enjoyed that. Just the song to be sung alone in a man cave with pyjamas on
.
PS: Just out of curiosity are your strings , shall we say, a little "vintage"? Not being rude, just checking my ears and perception.
